Harley Global's Busselton team have recently been involved with the development of an exciting new project at Donnelly River within the scenic Warren Blackwood Region.
The local Shire Council is investigating the development of a 'tourist slide', a toboggan-style ride extending down the eastern slope of the Donnelly River ridge, together with a interpretive centre, cafe, merchandise store and other public facilities.
The aim of the project is to create a significant tourist attraction in the area, capitalising on the remarkable local scenery and wildlife.
Harley Global were asked to perform a topographical and feature survey of the site, highlighting any landmarks or
existing features. The survey data has now been forwarded to the project engineers for design purposes.
The Surveyors certainly had their hiking boots on for this job, making their way through some rough terrain and heavily timbered bushland. We were thrilled to be involved in such an exciting project, and look forward to see the area realise its
immense tourism potential.
