Dale completed a four year Bachelor of Surveying Degree at Curtin University in 1996. His practical training then began by serving two years of articles under Alan Watson in Bunbury. In 1999 Dale completed the Land Surveyors Licensing Board's survey law, practical and oral examinations and became registered as a Licensed Surveyor.
Dale joined Harley Global as a Graduate Surveyor in 1995 in Bunbury and was then transferred to Busselton in 1997. His natural ability for the industry and keen eye for detail allowed Dale to excel in his position, soon becoming Operations Manager for the Busselton Office in 2004, and a valuable senior member of the Field Regional Team in 2010.
Dale has exceptional skills and survey experience in a variety of fields and industries, including MRD road surveys, civil earthworks, structural and mechanical surveying, general mine surveys, specialist planning, visual modelling and analysis, co-ordination of cadastral (boundary) surveys, pre-calculations and computing.
Dale is passionate about Harley Global, and enjoys his career in such a vibrant industry. In particular, he values the diversity in his work, the balance between field and office and the interaction between technology and tradition.
