Mike's tertiary surveying qualifications were achieved at WAIT, now Curtin University, where he completed a three year Bachelor of Applied Science (Surveying) Degree in 1975. Mike's practical training then began, and he commenced his articles under Les Norman in Albany. After the two year article period, he passed the Land Surveyors Licensing Board's survey law, practical and oral examinations and became registered as a Licensed Surveyor in 1977.
Between 1977 and 1989 Mike formed the partnership of Norman and Sauzier which was involved in providing a variety of surveying services to public and private clients in the Great Southern region from the practice base in Albany.
In 1989, Mike joined Harley Hedderwick and Webber, and became the fifth partner in the company. He soon took on the role of Branch Manager and Resident Director for the Busselton Office, and has seen the evolution of the company into Harley Global and the premium surveying company that it is today.
With the subsequent growth of the company and the Busselton operations, Mike's key roles now focus on client consultation, project development and marketing. He continually encourages a team approach to pursue new and innovative solutions to ensure the successes of the company continues into the future.
